The Purpose of Processing of Personal Data

SURFINTRIP SL strives to process the provided data in order to manage the corresponding contractual relationship, manage the submission of the requested information, provide offers for our services and/or products that may be of interest and/or manage their application.

SURFINTRIP SL collects your information to register and allow you to take part in the activities you have selected. If you want to book our services, you must necessarily include your personal data, some of which are mandatory (such as, for example, name, surname, e-mail address, residence address, telephone number, etc.). To manage easily your reservations and to access some features of the website (for example, save your settings, leave reviews and manage future bookings) you must create a user account.

The information you provide us is aimed, on the one hand, to offer you our services and, secondly, to carry out marketing activities such as sending newsletters, sending offers and promotion on the various services and similar activities, within the limits permitted by law. At any time you can opt out of receiving our newsletters using the "unsubscribe" function. In case of booking a surf camp package or a surf trip at one of our partners, SURFINTRIP SL could send your personal data to the partner in question to complete and manage your booking.

When you visit Surfintrip.com, even if you’re not booking, we may collect some information such as the browser you are using, the data related to the operating system of your computer, your IP address, the version of the application, the settings of the language and the pages you’ve visited. When you make a booking, our system keeps track of where you’ve booked. Also, we may also collect information about you when you use some services of social media.

Sometimes we may contact you via e-mail, mail, telephone or SMS based on the contact information you have shared with us. This could happen for different reasons, for example managing and/or answer a your request, to send you a reminder by e-mail, to send you a question form or an invitation to make a review about your experience with Surfintrip, to provide ways on how to contact in case of need, to send you information which we think might be useful for the organization of your trip or course. We may also send you material related to your current reservations. 

Surfintrip uses your personal information to invite you to make a judgment based on your experience, to be able to share with members of the community.

The mobile version of the Surfintrip website manage your personal information in the same way that this is done for the website. Also, the location service can help you to locate our services nearby. Also, Surfintrip could use your personal information to:

  • detect and prevent fraud or other illegal activity or unwanted;
  • improve Surfintrip services and the users experience;
  • promote and advertise the surf camps of the Host. 

 

Period of Time Personal Data Shall be Stored

Data shall be preserved over the minimum period of time to supply the service appropriately, as well as to answer any possible liabilities and other legal requirements.

SURFINTRIP SL will not disclose your information to third parties, with the exception of your explicit consent, in case of a reservation with one of our partners or in the case of a legal obligation.

In case of booking of surf camp package or surf trip, SURFINTRIP SL will transmit your personal information regarding your reservation to the partner who will manage the surf trip or the surf camp package selected. 

SURFINTRIP SL, following the use of our services, will ask you to provide a review on the specific services used. This review could be shared with the partner and/or published in our website. You could choose to not associate your name to the review by appearing as an anonymous user. When you leave a review, you agree that this is displayed on the surf camp or surf trip page on our website, on our social media accounts or in other parts on our website, in order to inform other travellers about the quality of services used.

 

Applicable Rights When Providing Data

The data protection rights applicable to the interested parties are as follows:

  • The right to object.
  • The right to restriction of processing.
  • The right of data portability.

Withdrawal of Consent

You will have the possibility and right to withdraw authorization for any specific purpose granted at any given time without prejudice of the legality of processing according to the consent given before withdrawal.

 

Where Claims are Presented When There is Reason to Believe Data is not Being Correctly Processed
