PRIVATE COURSE

The course lasts about 3/4 hours including the pick up time from/to your accommodation. We normally go in the morning or in the afternoon but we are a flexible academy and we plan the pick up time according to the weather and sea conditions of the day and the level of the group because we always look for the best conditions.

Below you find the schedule of a classic day with Surfintrip Academy.

The day's schedule is subject to change based on weather and sea conditions and customer needs.

Pick up and Transfer:

The instructors pick up the students at the accommodation for the transfer to the spot where the course will take place.

Briefing:

During the briefing, the instructors make a quick presentation about Surfintrip and they introduce the day’s schedule (sea and weather conditions, surf spot of the day, etc.) and they assign the material for each student (board, leash, wetsuit, lycra e wax).

Development of the course at the spot chosen according to the weather and sea conditions and the level of surfing group:

• Safe briefing and theoretical lesson on the beach;

• General warm up and functional exercises;

• Practical lesson on the beach;

• Entering the water under the supervision of the instructor the students put into practice what has been explained on the beach;

• Break: the duration is about 10-15 minutes and it is a good way to rest and regenerate yourself and to analyse the mistakes;

• Back in the water: The goal of this phase is to repeat technician movements learned and try to implement the tips;

• Video: a video camera will follow your waves;

• If you have video of the previous days, you will see them with the instructor through a tablet and analyse the critical issues on which to focus in the next session that gives you all possible advice (this step can also take place the next day);

• End of course: cool-down, stretching and feedback on the course.
